Today the club encourages ocean, long distance and other forms of yacht racing and yachting activity including organising the bi-annual Fastnet race.
Our Commodore, Kate Cope and her Crew consisting of RBYC Members, had to undertake multi-qualifying sailing voyages in order to take part in the 2017 Fastnet Race.
