This is a one day course aimed at sailors who want to go beyond a basic level of understanding of the weather around us.
If you have been sailing for a while and take a regular interest in weather forecasts and weather charts, this course is for you.
The course will be delivered by Simon Rowell who is an Ocean Yachtmaster, Instructor and Examiner, and has spent a lot of time getting rained on (some of it warm, some of it cold). He obtained a distinction in the MSc course in applied meterology at the University of Reading, and is currently doing a part time PhD there.
