Annual Dinner Awards

The Annual Dinner Awards are given at the Dinner Dance in recognition of & to celebrate the most memorable moments from the previous years RBYC sailing calendar.

These awards remind us all that sailing is  a great leveller.  Any one, regardless of level of experience or qualifications, can win an award.  While the winners of these awards would rather forget the events that resulted in the award, their heroic efforts to entertain us in unique & different ways means we are compelled to record their contributions for posterity.

Nominations can come from any club member.  Blog reports on trips are a great way of capturing the events so they can be remembered at the end of the year.

Please note, non-attendance at the Dinner Dance does not preclude you from winning an award.  If your memorable moment was that spectacular - you will get an award.
